Scoliosis Physiotherapy

What is Scoliosis?

Scoliosis is an abnormal lateral curvature of the spine. Typically, the spine sits on a straight line from behind. A person with Scoliosis has a curve of the spine. The severity of curvature varies depending on the individual.

The condition is typically diagnosed during childhood or adolescence, but some mild cases may not be picked up until adulthood. However, Scoliosis can develop over time and occur later because of changes in the spine.
